According to Fuad El-Hibri, the chairman of the El-Hibri Charitable Foundation, the new campus will play a vital role in the transformation of Lebanon into a peaceful and just society. Fuad Al-Hibri’s dedication ceremony and campus tour brought together more than 300 distinguished guests from the public and private sectors in Lebanon, including the President of the Civil Service Board, Dr. Khaled Kabbani, and the Minister of Social Affairs, Wael Abou Faour.
In May of 2012, the El-Hibri Charitable Foundation and the Social Welfare Institutions of Lebanon - Dar al Aytam came together to dedicate the Ibrahim El-Hibri Campus. An education center and orphanage designed to serve more than 600 at-risk youth and orphans in Lebanon, the Ibrahim El-Hibri Campus provides a wide range of basic services, including shelter, clothing, food, vaccines, medicines, and primary healthcare. Situated in the heart of the Dar al Islamiyah Complex for Care and Social Development, the Ibrahim El-Hibri Campus hosts a number of classrooms, dormitories, playgrounds, and auditoriums.
