Held annually, the World Vaccine Congress is one of the world’s most important vaccine events. It brings together thousands of vaccine and biotech professionals to present presentations on vaccine research and commercial manufacturing. Its goal is to unite vaccine experts so they can share their knowledge to help tackle global issues, such as the coronavirus pandemic.
Congress is typically split into multiple tracks, each tackling a different aspect of the vaccine industry. For example, the 2023 event will have tracks focused on cancer and immunotherapy, clinical trials, and COVID and the years to come, among many others. The event also welcomes noted speakers in the industry to provide presentations, with previous speakers including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s chief medical officer Dr. Mitchell Wolfe and assistant director-general of the World Health Organization, Dr. Mariangela Simao.
